Here, “Le” is a playful nod to both the French “the” and the Chinese “fun/happiness”, setting the tone for a space that’s as thoughtful as it is joyful.

I’m Chong Er, a Singaporean OMSCS candidate at Georgia Tech, NUS alumnus, and former BNP Paribas analyst with a knack for untangling life’s complexities. Born in the Little Red Dot yet always eager to explore beyond, I’ve navigated a spectrum of experiences: from converting my citizenship after two years of stay-in National Service, to the vibrant campus life at NUS, the fast-paced world of banking, and now the flexibility of remote studies.

My trusty companions? A classic rubber duck (and my ever-reliable Squirtle), always ready to help me debug both code and life’s little puzzles. With a “prugal” (prudently frugal) mindset, I stretch every dollar in one of the world’s most expensive cities, while nurturing a passion for lifelong learning. Case in point: over 1,000 consecutive days of Duolingo French have earned me a spot in the Streak Society while adding a certain je ne sais quoi to my problem-solving toolkit.
